Socket.IO Server — Test Hub

Open the two browser clients below in separate windows to exercise channel messaging across one or two server instances.

What you can test

Connect / authenticate — token-based Socket.IO handshake
Join a channel — room-based subscriptions
Broadcast messages — WebSocket send-event to a channel
Exclude sender — optional socketId so that client is skipped via except
HTTP publish — POST /send-event with optional socketId
Multi-instance HA — Client 01 → port 3155, Client 02 → port 3156 (Redis adapter)

Open Client 01 Instance A · http://localhost:3155 Open Client 02 Instance B · http://localhost:3156

Start the stack first (docker compose up -d or local Node + Redis). If you open this hub from a running server, use http://localhost:3155/. Use the same channel name in both windows, then send from one and watch the other.
